Remove/install

Remove front bumper

When removing an inner PARKTRONIC sensor (1).

Release front fender liner in front area until the outer PARKTRONIC sensor (1) is accessible

When removing an outer PARKTRONIC sensor (1).

Unscrew bolt from bumper antenna and swivel bumper antenna out of working area

When removing left outer PARKTRONIC sensor (1).

Disconnect electrical connection (2)

Release catch hook in direction of arrow and pull PARKTRONIC sensor (1) rearwards out of the holder (3)

Check seal (4) for signs of damage and correct seating

If seal (4) is damaged.

Install new seal (4).

If the seal (4) is not correctly seated on the PARKTRONIC sensor (1).

Correctly position seal (4).

Install in the reverse order

Check

Perform function check for PARKTRONIC
