2 | Remove trim of instrument cluster (1) | ||
3 | Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit | On vehicles with code (889) Keyless Go, press the Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until the ignition is switched off. Remove the Keyless Go transmitter card or transmitter key from the vehicle and store beyond the reach of the transmitter | |
4 | Remove bolts (2) from instrument | ||
5 | Pull instrument cluster (A1) out of the instrument panel (4) until the electrical connector (3) is accessible | ||
6 | Release and unplug electrical connector (3) and remove instrument cluster (A1). | ||
7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
8.1 | Read fault memory, erase if necessary | Only if the instrument cluster (A1) has not been replaced. | |
