1 | Insert removal tools (2) into tachograph (1) next to drawer on left and right and push all the way in. Press removal tools down a little and pull out tachograph using removal tools. | Installation: Insert tachograph until it latches audibly. | |
2 | Remove anti-tamper seal (3). | Installation: Replace anti-tamper | |
3 | Remove cover (4) | Push the cover up to release the detent mechanism, then remove by extracting to the rear. | |
4 | Disconnect electrical connections | Removal: Identify plug. Installation: Only plug connections | |
5 | Install in the reverse order | Following installation of the new tachograph, the operational parameters must be programmed into the unit using the Kienzle diagnosis unit. |
