Select crimping set to match plug contact (10) and line cross-section.

Check the crimping dies (3) and positioner (1) on the crimping pliers (5), and change, if necessary.

Slide sealing (8) over line (9).

Only with single-wire seal.

 Select the sealing (8) according to plug contact (10) and line cross-section. Push seal (8) with sealing lips at front over end of line first.

Strip line (9).

 Select the stripping length (A) according to plug contact (10) and line cross-section.
Use a suitable tool. Do not damage or bend the wire strands.

Align sealing (8) on line (9).

Only with single-wire seal.

 The sealing distance (B) may not exceed a maximum of 1 mm.

Insert plug contact (10) into positioner (1) and fold positioner (1) onto crimping pliers (5).

When using the crimping sets listed.

 The crimping clips (6, 7) must be perpendicular to the fixed crimping jaws (2).

Fold positioner (1) onto crimping pliers (5) and insert plug contact (10) through crimping dies (3) into positioner (1).

When using the crimping sets listed.

 The crimping clips (6, 7) must be perpendicular to the fixed crimping jaws (2).

Close crimping pliers (5).

 Only until the crimping pliers (5) has locked in the first detent position. Do not deform the crimping clips (6, 7). If the plug contact (10) is inserted incorrectly, open the crimping pliers (5) by operating the emergency release (4) again.

Insert line (9) through crimping clips (6, 7) in plug contact (10).

 For lines with a single-wire seal, guide seal (8) through crimping clip (7) of plug contact (10).

Press crimping pliers (5) together, all the way, and then remove the finished crimp connection.

 The crimping pliers (5) can only be opened if it was compressed as far as the end stop.



Check

Check crimp connection.

 Check that the seal (8) is properly seated and check for damage.

If the crimp connection is faulty,



remove plug contact (10) and repeat operation steps 1 to 9.
