Remove

Switch off ignition

Remove rear fender piece before the EATU (1)

Disconnect electrical connection (5)

Remove exhaust pressure sensor downstream of the diesel particulate filter (B38) at the sensor bush (4)



Install

Screw on retaining screw (2) and remove pressure line (6) at the sensor bush (4)

Screw on nut (3) in order to loosen the sensor bush (4) on bracket

7

Coat thread of the exhaust pressure sensor downstream of diesel particulate filter (B38) with lubricant

Paste, hot lubrication 100 g DBL 6879.20

Attach exhaust pressure sensor downstream of the diesel diesel particulate filter (B38) to the sensor bush (4)

 Exhaust pressure sensor to sensor bushing

Connect electrical connection (5)

Align electrical connection (5) through twisting the sensor bush (4) relative to the wiring harness


The wiring harness should not be under tension.
Malfunctions can occur otherwise.

Fit pressure line (6) to the sensor bush (4)

Turn down nut (3) in order to the attach sensor bush (4) to the bracket

Install rear fender piece before the EATU (1)

Learning process

Perform the respective teach-in process in the exhaust aftertreatment (ACM) control unit

Only if the exhaust pressure sensor downstream of diesel particulate filter (B38) was replaced.

Perform teach-in processes on exhaust aftertreatment control unit (ACM)

After replacing various assembly parts of the EATS the respective teach-in process must be performed in the exhaust aftertreatment (ACM) control unit.
This could otherwise result in another workshop visit.
