4 | Detach exhaust system (1) from bracket (2), for this step unscrew nuts (3) | Installation: Replace threaded rail and nuts (3). | |

5 | Detach exhaust system (1) from firewall catalytic converter (157); remove screw/bolts (4) to do this | Installation: Clean connecting points of combustion and corrosion residues, replace bolts (4). Check the rivet nuts in the exhaust manifold, if required: | |
Replace rivet nuts in exhaust manifold. | |||

6 | Unhook exhaust system (1) from exhaust rubber mounts (5) | Check exhaust rubber mount (5) for wear, replace if required. | |

9 | Check installation position and unobstructed movement of exhaust system (1) | The exhaust system must be mounted free of tension, align exhaust system if required. | |
