Remove/install

Remove rear muffler.

Model 910 except code K1D (exhaust gas generation WLTP)

Remove SCR catalytic converter downstream of the exhaust gas aftertreatment unit.

Remove bracket (1).

 To do this, remove screws (2).

Remove the bracket (3).

 For this purpose, remove bolts (4).

4.1

Remove electrical wiring harnesses (5) from the heat shield (6).

Model 910 except code K1D (exhaust gas generation WLTP)

 To do this, remove retaining clips (7).

 Installation: Check retaining clips (7) for damage.

If necessary,



replace damaged retaining clips (7).

4.2

Remove electrical wiring harnesses (10, 11) from heat shield (6).

Model 910 with code K1D (exhaust gas generation WLTP)

 To do this, remove retaining clips (7).

 Installation: Check retaining clips (7) for damage.

If necessary,



replace damaged retaining clips (7).

Remove screw (8).

Remove heat shield (6).

 To do this, remove spring washers (9).

 Installation: Check spring washers (9) for damage.

If necessary,



replace damaged spring washers (9).

Install in the reverse order.
