Danger

Risk of death when working on component parts and systems with U >= 30 V alternating voltage (AC) or U >= 60 V direct voltage (DC)

Do not touch damaged or defective live component parts and lines or non-insulated electrical connections and lines.

AS00.00-Z-0035-01A

Warning

Risk of injury caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof.

No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving.

OF47.70-P-3005-01EQ

Fill out test log (form) step-by-step during the following test.

2

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2  m).

No-one must be located in or on the vehicle throughout the entire power disable procedure.

3

Disconnect charger for retaining the 12 V on-board electrical system voltage.

If a 12 volt charger is connected.

AR54.10-P-1127LW

4

Unplug charging cable from vehicle socket for charging the high-voltage battery.

If the charging cable is connected.

5

Close socket flap for vehicle socket and use the warning sign to secure it against plugs being inserted again.

Store padlock key (3) separately and so that it is only accessible to authorized persons.

9

Visually check high voltage components for activity.

No high voltage components may be active. The electric refrigerant compressor and heaters may not be active.

If high voltage components are active,

cancel manual test of absence of voltage and inform the responsible market support.

10

Check high voltage components, electrical connectors, and electric lines for damage.

If damage is present,

cancel manual test of absence of voltage and inform the responsible market support.

11

Check measuring instrument for proper operation and damage according to the manufacturer's specifications.
