1 | Tilt cab | Installation: Only tilt back cab after the leak test. | |
2 | Remove soundproofing | Installation: Only install soundproofing after the leak test. | |
3 | Clean engine in the area of fuel system high pressure pump (4) and fuel filter module (1) | ||
4 | Drain fuel at fuel filter module (1) | ||
Collect escaping fuel. | |||
5 | Disconnect electrical connection (2) | ||
6 | Remove fuel temperature sensor (B602) | Installation: Replace sealing ring. | |

7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
8 | Fill fuel low-pressure circuit on engine | ||
9 | Start engine and perform an engine test run | Allow engine to run at a higher rotational speed. | |
If engine fails to start or only runs for a brief period: | |||

Fill fuel low-pressure circuit again. | |||
10 | Shut off engine and check area around fuel system high pressure pump (4) and fuel filter module (1) for leaktightness | Visual inspection. |
