Risk of explosion caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin caused by contactwith fuel.

No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. Pour fuels into suitable and appropriately marked containers only.
Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

Remove/install

1

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).

Remove engine air intake duct (1).

3

Remove purge line (2) from purge control valve (Y58/1) and seal with suitable stop plug.


Do not crush, kink or subject purge line (2) to tension.
This results in damage to purge line (2) and can impair its function.

Release and disconnect electrical connector(4).

Release and disconnect connector coupling (3) and seal with suitable stop plug.


Do not crush, kink or subject line at connector coupling (3) to tension.
This will result in damage to line at connector coupling (3) and can impair its function.

Release purge control valve (Y58/1) with rubber mount from bracket (5) and remove.

Install in the reverse order.
