Detach engine-block covering complete

 Engine 612.963 only.

Remove exhaust-gas recirculation valve (138)

 Except engine 612.963 /990.

Loosen charge air hose on charge air cooler

 Engine 612.990.

3.2

Loosen charge air hose at valve

 Engine 612.963.

Loosen bolts (41a) on belt pulley (41)



Remove poly-V belt (130)

Pinch off and remove feed hose (30m) from power steering expansion reservoir



Unscrew high-pressure expansion hose (30i)

Seal off line connection with blind plug.

 Installation: Replace O-ring (30h).

Detach and remove power steering pump (30)

Model 203: Remove power steering pump with bracket.

 Installation: Model 203: Front left, use short bolt.

Install in the reverse order

Fill and bleed power steering pump (30)
