Drain coolant

Replace coolant

Remove coolant pipe (1)

Detach pressure line (2) and suction line (3) at power steering pump (4)

Collect oil which flows out.

Installation: When tightening the pressure line (2) and suction line (3), counterhold connector on the power steering pump (4).

Remove power steering pump (4) from compressor (5)

Installation: Replace seal.

Bolt, power steering pump to compressor

Remove power steering pump (4)

Installation: Replace O-ring.

Remove cross plate (6)

Installation: Turn crankshaft on the engine until guides of cross plate (6) are horizontal.
Secure cross plate (6) against sliding using grease.

Detach connector at power steering pump (4)

Only when the power steering pump (4) is replaced.

Observe installation position of connector for the suction line (3). Collect oil which flows out.

Install in the reverse order

Fill up steering gear oil and bleed
