Raise vehicle at front axle

 Raise the vehicle at the specified mounting points otherwise serious damage to the frame can occur.

Check and adjust center steering position at steering gear

Mark adjustment screw (1) relative to the steering gear (arrow)

 The markings allow a comparison between the previous and new settings.

Slacken lock nut (2) on adjusting bolt (1)

 Check adjustment screw (1) for ease of movement.

Apply adjustment screw (1) with torque



Loosen adjustment screw (1) by two revolutions

Hold adjusting bolt (1) securely and tighten jam nut (2) by hand

Tighten lock nut (2).



Conduct a road test

 During the road test check the overall steering behavior of the vehicle.
