Remove profile ventilation

Check float (2) for surface damage (arrow)

Weigh float (2) and compare with specified value

 If the specified weight is exceeded, replace the entire profile ventilation. Otherwise the retarder function may be destroyed.

Place valve element (1) on float (2), weight it with the test ring (3) and fill the cavity between the float (2) and the upper edge of the valve element with spirit

 If the fluid level changes within one minute, replace the entire profile ventilation. Otherwise the retarder function may be destroyed.
