| Remove/install | ||
1 | Remove vacuum in BAS brake booster (A7/7) by depressing brake pedal several times. | ||
2 | Remove windshield wiper system. | ||
3 | Pull vacuum line (1) with check valve (2) out of seal (3) of BAS brake booster (A7/7). | Installation: Check seal (3) for damage. | |
In the event of a problem, | |||

replace seal (3). | |||
4 | Disconnect vacuum line (1) at the connecting point (4). | ||
5 | Unclip cable duct (5) from bulkhead (6). | ||
6 | Unhook vacuum line (1) from bulkhead (6) (arrows) and remove to the right with the cable duct (5). | | |
Pay attention to installation position. | |||
7 | Remove cable duct (5) from vacuum line (1). | When replacing the vacuum line (1). | |
8 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| Check | ||
9 | Perform brake test on test stand. | ||
