Remove

Remove wheel

Fill compressed air system completely.

Release parking brake

Remove retaining bracket (3)

Screw threaded pipes by altering brake adjuster (2) all the way into the brake caliper (7).

Adjust brake adjuster (2) using a box wrench and hexagon adapter only.
Otherwise, the brake adjuster (2) may be damaged and the brake caliper (7) will then have to be repaired.

Remove brake linings (8, 9)



Clean

Clean brake lining recess and guide surfaces of brake linings (8, 9)

 Do not damage the boots.



Check

Check thickness and condition of brake disks

Check supporting surfaces on brake linings (8, 9) on brake carrier for damage

For pittings with a depth of > 0.5 mm



Replace brake caliper (7).

Install

Install brake linings (8, 9)

 By shifting the brake caliper (7) insert first the inner brake lining (9), then the outer brake lining (8).
