Before starting the engine, actuate brake pedal several times until pressure is built up and maintained in the brake system.

Remove

Remove rear wheel.

Remove brake line (1) from brake hose (2) and seal connection using suitable stop plugs.

 Collect escaping brake fluid with suitable container.

 Record plug

Remove clamping plate (3).

Unscrew banjo bolt (4), remove brake hose (2) and seal connections using suitable stop plugs.

 Collect escaping brake fluid with suitable container.

 Record plug

Clean brake caliper (6) and any areas soiled with brake fluid.

Assembly cleaner

Install

Check brake hose (2) for damage.

If there is a problem,



Replace brake hose (2).

Remove stop plugs, position brake hose (2) on brake caliper (6) and tighten with banjo bolt  (4).

 Replace sealing rings (5).

Remove stop plugs and mount brake line (1) onto brake hose (2).

 Union nut, brake line to brake hose

Install clamping plate (3).

Bleed brake system.
