Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.

Remove/install

Remove brakepads.

Remove banjo bolt (1) from connector (2).

 Collect escaping brake fluid with a suitable container.

 Installation: Replace sealing rings of banjo bolt (1).

Seal opening in brake caliper (3) and on connector (2) with suitable stop plugs.

 Record plug

Remove screws (4) from brake caliper (3).

 Installation: Replace screws (4) on brake caliper (3) and tighten uniformly.

 Bolt, brake caliper to hub reduction gear housing

Remove brake caliper (3).

Install in the reverse order.

Bleed brake system.

Check brake system for leak tightness and proper operation.
