Remove the wheels

Release the combination cylinder

 In case of lack of air in the system, release it mechanically.

Release the brake shoes by pulling back until the "S" camshaft (1) stands on "zero"

 On vehicles fitted with automatic adjuster, a little effort is required to release the adjuster mechanical setting screw, upon which a characteristic ratchet noise can be heard.

Mark the brake drum position (3) in relation to the wheel hub (5)

 Installation: Assemble brake drum (3) so that the previous marks coincide.

Remove the brake drum (3) by pressing the three disassembly screws (4)

Clean the drum (2) and the brake lining (3)

 The brake drums (3) should be rectified or replaced always in pairs (of same axle and of both sides). If they are rectified, the same measure must obligatorily be kept on both.

 According to the case, rectify drum to a wider diameter (3) and if maximum measure is exceeded, replace it.
