Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.

Detach hydraulic line (4) from shift cylinder (3)

Seal connections.

Unscrew union nut (5) and disconnect electrical connector on pressure switch (2)

Mark the installed position of the cylindrical actuator (3) relative to the axle tube
Only when shift cylinder (3) or parts of the differential lock are not replaced.

Remove the mounting bolts and remove shift cylinder (3)
Install

Set mounting bore (6) for shift sleeve in the center of the opening in the axle tube

Mount shift cylinder (3) on the axle tube and screw in the mounting bolts

When installing the old shift cylinder (3) and without replacing parts of the differential lock.
