8 | Remove propeller shaft with flex disk from rear axle differential (1) and fasten outside the working area. | ||
9 | Support rear axle differential (1). | ||

Depending on the version of the rear axle shaft, apply an assembly lever at a suitable position. Helper required. | |||
Installation: Retaining ring must engage noticeably on the rear axle differential (1). | |||
15 | Check snap ring of rear axle shaft for damage. | Depending on the findings, | |

replace snap ring. | |||
16 | Remove rear axle differential (1). | ||
17 | Replace radial shaft sealing rings of rear axle differential (1). | ||
18 | Install in the reverse order | ||
