Remove/install

Remove rear wheel hub (6)

Remove oil retainer (1)

Use a thin drift to force oil retainer through the holes (arrow) in the rear wheel hub (4)

 Installation: Coat external circumference of oil retainer with sealant

Remove radial seal (2)

 Installation: Coat outer circumference of radial sealing ring without rubberized outer surface with sealant.

Multipurpose grease

Remove inner tapered roller bearing (3)

 Installation: Grease new tapered roller bearing with multipurpose grease

Remove inner outer race (4) and outer outer race (7)

 Use a suitable drift to drive out the outer races

 Installation: Drive inner (4) and outer (7) outer race all the way into the rear wheel hub (6)



 Completely fill space between outer and inner outer race with multipurpose grease

Remove wheel fastening bolt (5), if damaged

 Installation: During installation, ensure that the milled side points inwards

Replace stud bolts (8), if damaged


