Fasten the dial indicator holder (1) with the dial indicator (2) and the prolongation (3) on the bell hub

Place the dial indicator (2) with approximately 1 mm of preload on the stop washer of the sun gear and set the measuring scale of the comparator to zero

Move the axle shaft from side to side with the adapter (4) and the device (5), thus checking the end play



If the stipulated value is not reached, adjust the end play by adding or removing the corresponding shims.
