1 | Disconnect plug (1) | ||
2 | Remove pressure switch (2) | ||
3 | Detach compressed-air line (6) | ||
4 | Remove cover (5) | Mark installation position of cover (5). | |
5 | Remove shift piston (11) and adjusting disk (12) | | |
6 | Remove cylinder liner (13) | Only if the installed cylinder bushing (13) is made of plastic or is damaged. | |
| Install | ||
7 | Install new cylinder liner (13) | Only if the cylinder lining (13) has been removed. | |
8 | Mount new O-ring (10) on shift piston (11) | ||
9 | Coat shift piston (11) on the sealing surface and on the contact surface of the adjusting disk (12) with synthetic grease and slide the previous adjusting disk (12) onto the shift piston (11) | Due to the synthetic grease the adjusting disk (12) sticks to the contact surface on the shift piston (11). | |
10 | Install shift piston (11) with the previous adjusting disk (12) | Ensure that the adjusting disk (12) does not slip. | |
11 | Attach cover (5) with new gasket (9) | Install gasket (9) with raised bead towards the cover (5). Observe identification of cover (5). | |

12 | Check axial play of gearshift sleeve | If necessary adjust axial play of gearshift sleeve. | |

13 | Install pressure switch (2) with new sealing ring (3) | ||
14 | Attach plug (1) | ||
