2	Mount the gauge (1) with dial indicator (2) for transferring the installed dimension determined to the bolts of the bearing caps and screw in the threaded rings (6) using the square drift (3) until the dial indicator (2) is on "0"		*312589040700
3	Position dial indicator (4) with dial indicator holder (5) on the axle housing		*001589532100

4	Rotate crown wheel several times
5	Mount dial indicator tip under preload on the tooth of the ring gear, check the gear backlash and adjust if necessary	 To adjust the gear backlash both the threaded rings (6) must be screwed in or out until the specified value is achieved.	*BE33.30-N-1001-01A

6	Check the gear backlash at two further teeth and adjust if necessary		*BE33.30-N-1001-01A
7	Adjust overdimension of distance at the bearing cap	 Read off the distance dimension transferred by the measuring plate off the dial indicator (2). Screw in the threaded ring (6) until the overdimension is achieved.	*BE33.30-N-1002-01A

8	Turn ring gear fully several times and measure gear backlash again at three ring gear teeth; readjust if necessary
9	Check ring gear/drive pinion contact pattern		AR33.30-W-0475-02A

11	Secure ring nut (6) using tab washer		*BA33.30-N-1002-04A
