Remove left front axle shaft (60)

Remove circlip (36)

 Installation: Ensure correct seating.

Pull intermediate shaft out (34) out of the oil pan

 Model 220, 211: To do this, raise suspension strut until the intermediate shaft (34) can be led through the C-bracket on the suspension strut.

 Model 211: If the intermediate shaft cannot be pulled out by hand.

Replace deep-groove ball bearing (35)

Check circlip (34a) and replace if necessary

Install in the reverse order
