Remove steering knuckle assembly with mounted hub reduction gear and double-joint propeller shaft

 Do not detach hub reduction gear.

Remove sealing rings (2, 3) from axle tube

Remove needle roller bearing (4) from axle tube

Check wear ring of double-joint propeller shaft for signs of wear and damage

If there are problems



Replace the wear ring of double-joint propeller shaft.

Check wear ring and anti-lock braking system (ABS) rotor of double-joint propeller shaft for signs of wear and damage

Install new needle bearing (4) in axle tube

Coat outside of new sealing rings (2, 3) with quick-acting adhesive and inside with long-life grease
