Removing

Drain oil from planetary hub reduction drive



Front axle - oil change

Remove cover (9) with gasket (8)

Remove circlip (7)

Remove shim (6) and thrust plate (5)

Remove circlip (3) and spacer washer (2)

Remove sliding block (4) and sun gear (1)



Install

Install sun gear (1) and spacer washer (2)

 The collar of the sun gear (1) must point upward.

Install circlip (3)

Install sliding block (4)

Install thrust washer (5).

 Insert the thrust plate (5) in such a way that it locks the outer thrust plates of the planetary gears.

Install shim (6) and circlip (7)

Checking and adjusting axial play of input shaft

 If necessary, remove the shim (6) again and install an appropriate shim (6).
