Check

1 Secure dial indicator (2) with dial indicator holder (1) and extension (3) to bell hub.

2 Position measuring tip of dial indicator (2) on input shaft with approx. 1 mm preload.

3 Press against shim (4) and move input shaft toward wheel hub and axle center alternately using an assembly lever (arrow) while reading off axial play of input shaft from dial indicator (2).

The axial play must be adjusted if there are deviations from the specified value.

Adjust

4 Adjust axial play of input shaft using appropriate shim.
