Detach bracket (1) of linkage on left front level sensor from cross strut (3)

If a left front level sensor is installed.


Do not unclip the linkage from the bracket (1).
Otherwise the linkage will be damaged.

 Installation: Replace cable tie.

Detach bracket (1) of linkage on right front level sensor from cross strut (3)

If a right front level sensor is installed.


Do not unclip the linkage from the bracket (1).
Otherwise the linkage will be damaged.

 Installation: Replace cable tie.

Unscrew nut from upper ball joint (4) on steering knuckle (2)



Remove nut from cross strut (3) on front axle carrier (5)


When undoing the nut the bolt must not be twisted. It is essential to counterhold the bolt.
Otherwise the fixing lugs for the caster adjustment in the elastomer bearing will be sheared off when the repair kit is fitted.

 Installation: Only tighten nuts and bolts of suspension components when vehicle is in a ready-to-drive condition.
