Support vehicle on its frame

Remove drag link

Only applies to steering 765.83/84/86.

Loosen ABS sensor (6).

Disconnect brake wear sensor connector

 On vehicles with code (J53) brake lining wear indicator only

Remove compressed air lines (5) at brake cylinders

With compressed air connection system "VOSS 230".

With compressed air connection system "VOSS 232" (NG 8, 12) or "SCHÄFER SDF" (NG 6).

 Installation: Check O-rings and replace if necessary.



Disconnect shock absorber (2) from front axle



Detach compressed air line (12) of differential lock and disconnect connector (11)

Detach vent line (13)

Detach propeller (8) shaft from front axle only.

 Support propeller shaft.

Secure front axle to prevent it falling

Remove spring bracket (3), spring seat (4) and spring support (7)

 Place stabilizer bar (1) down.



Lower front axle and pull out from under the vehicle

Install in the reverse order

Check steering lock, adjust if necessary.
