Remove left and right heat shield (4)

Remove rear heat shield (4)

Remove retaining clip (2)

If necessary press heat shield to one side on underfloor.

Detach both boots (6) on left and right stabilizer mount (3)

Installation: Check boots (6) for correct seat on anti-sway bar mount (3).

Detach left and right heat shield bracket (5)

Only with engine 112, 272

Observe installation position.

Detach right heat shield bracket (5)

Only with engine 642

Observe installation position.

Detach left and right anti-sway bar mount (3) at anti-sway bar

Detach boots (6) from anti-sway bar

For this purpose, clean anti-sway bar in working area and remove boots (6) to the right.

Installation: Observe installation position of boots (6).

Check

Check anti-sway bar, stabilizer mount (3) and boots (6) for wear and damage

Replace worn or damaged anti-sway bar mount (3). If the stabilizer bar shows significant galling caused by the stabilizer bar mount (3), replace stabilizer bar:

Remove/install front stabilizer bar
