| Remove/install | ||
1 | Remove front left or right wheel and tire assembly.
2 | Transfer the pneumatic pressure of suspension strut (1) into the central reservoir using the diagnostic system. | Model 167
| |||
| |||
Select menu item "Actuations" in active suspension and damping system control unit.
Installation: Transfer pneumatic pressure out of the central reservoir into suspension strut (1) using the diagnostic system.
3 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).
4 | Open hood and remove covers over suspension strut (1) at top.
5 | Detach pneumatic pressure line (2) from suspension strut (1) and seal openings with suitable stop plugs. | Model 167
| |||
Before beginning repair work, clean the area around the pneumatic pressure line connections. Do not use any cleaning agents or solvents.
