4 Weld shut the V-seam in several positions (4, 5 and 6).

Do not weld the bore completely shut.
When welding, swing the top layer (6) with the electrode to the left and right and back again, and stop for a moment (approx. 2 s.) at the right and left with the electrode, to ensure that the electrode has a sufficient drip period and thereby prevent any undercuts. Always weld from above downwards. After welding, particular care should be taken to ensure that slow and uniform cooling is given.

5 Level out the weld seam.

To avoid any notch effect.
