	Removing
1	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS
2	Store parameters for drive control (FR) control unit (A3)	 Only if the drive control (FR) control unit (A3) is replaced.	AR30.35-W-1102-01A
3	Remove paneling at top for dashboard on the passenger side		AR68.10-W-3435A
4	Disconnect electrical connectors (1) from drive control (FR) control unit (A3)
5	Remove drive control (FR) control unit (A3)	To do this, press drive control (FR) control unit (A3) into rear bracket and unclip from front bracket from above.
	Install
6	Install drive control (FR) control unit (A3)
7	Attach electrical connectors (1) on drive control (FR) control unit (A3)
8	Install paneling at top for dashboard on the passenger side		AR68.10-W-3435A
9	Transfer parameters and teach in drive control (FR) control unit (A3)	 Only if the drive control (FR) control unit (A3) was replaced.	AR30.35-W-1102-01A
10	Read out and erase the fault memory using Star Diagnosis
11	Switch off ignition
12	Disconnect STAR DIAGNOSIS
