Requirements:
The following conditions must be fulfilled to transmit the parameters stored in the drive control (FR) control unit:
Battery voltage 24 V...26 V.
It is essential that the power supply for the STAR DIAGNOSIS computer remains constant throughout the entire period.
During transfer it is allowed to
start any other application,
perform on-board-diagnosis,
run or start the engine and
disconnect the vehicle battery.

If the stored parameters cannot be received due to failure of the drive control (FR) control unit, the parameters for the new drive control (FR) control unit must be taken from the vehicle documentation system and entered manually.

Store parameters for drive control (FR) control unit
1 Switch on ignition.
2 Start Diagnosis Assistance System (DAS) and select category "truck".
3 Select "Automatic model series access" and confirm with button F2
4 Select "Control unit direct entry"
5 Select "Drive control (FR)".
6 Select "Control unit adaptations".

7 Select "Control unit replacement".
8 Follow the instructions of the system.
The control unit parameters are transferred automatically to STAR DIAGNOSIS and saved temporarily.
9 Switch off ignition.
Leave STAR DIAGNOSIS connected.

Transfer parameters and teach in drive control (FR) control unit
10 Switch on ignition.
11 Start parameter transfer using button "F2" in Star Diagnosis.
12 Follow the instructions of the system.
The parameters buffered in Star Diagnosis are transferred to the new drive control (FR) control unit.
13 Select "Control unit adaptations" in the control unit "FR drive control".
14 Select "teach-in process" and start the respective teach-in processes.
15 Follow the instructions of the system.
