Unfasten the cover (Mercedes star) at the 3 catch hooks on the inner side of the radiator trim and take it off

Unlock and detach electrical connector (1) on DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A89)

Unscrew nuts (3) and remove DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A89) from bracket (2)

Install in the reverse order

Perform initialization of DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A89) with the diagnostic system

Perform calibration with diagnostic system

When replacing the DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A89).
