Remove/install oil lines of oil cooling for automatic transmission

Remove/install

 Danger!

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.

Depressurize the hydraulic system completely before starting any work on the system. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses.

Remove air filter housing

Detach feed line (1) at top of radiator

 For this purpose, remove clips (2)

 Set of stop plugs

Remove bolt (3)

Remove bottom engine compartment paneling

Detach return line (4) at bottom of radiator

 For this purpose, remove clips (2)

 Set of stop plugs

Open hose clamp (5)

 To do this, unhook electrical connector (6) from bracket.



Detach clamps (7) from oil pan



Detach feed line (1) and return line (4) from transmission

 To do this, remove clamps.

 Set of stop plugs

Remove feed line (1) and return line (4) to the rear

Install in the reverse order



Checking

Check oil level in automatic transmission and correct if necessary
