Remove/install

Remove upper engine compartment cover (14).

Remove air duct segment (15).

3

Disconnect oil lines (1) from oil cooler (2).

Remove lower engine compartment paneling.

 Installation: Only install lower engine compartment paneling after leak test.

Loosen screw (3) and remove line bracket (4).

Remove screw (5) and remove line fastener (6) from cooler holder.

Disconnect oil lines (1) from thermostat (7) and remove downwards.

Clean area around oil lines (9) on torque converter housing (11).

Remove screws (10) and remove oil lines (9) from torque converter housing (11).

Remove screw (12) and double clamp (13).

 Screw, double clamp to oil pan

Disconnect oil lines (9) from thermostat (7) and remove towards rear.

Remove screw (8) and remove thermostat (7) downward.

 Bolt, thermostat to bracket

Install in the reverse order.



Check

Correct transmission oil level.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Perform engine test run and check oil lines (1, 9) for leak tightness.
