Radial shaft sealing rings

 Danger

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.
Do not pour transmission oil into beverage bottles.

Remove

Remove left or right front axle shaft

AR33.30-S-6530C

Pry radial shaft sealing ring (2) out of automatic transmission (1)


Do not damage the sealing surface on the automatic transmission (1).
Leaks can occur otherwise.

Clean automatic transmission (1) in area of radial shaft sealing ring (2)

Install

Drive radial shaft sealing ring (2) into automatic transmission (1)

 The radial shaft sealing ring (2) must be flush with the automatic transmission (1).
