Unhook selector lever control cable on automatic transmission

Remove plug on starter lock-out switch.

Turn locking device upwards (arrow) and carefully press off the plug using two screwdrivers (arrows).

Press in cover (4) gently, remove snap ring (6) and pull out cover (4).

Loosen hexagon nut (7) of axial bracket (8).

Turn axial bracket (8) away to the left at the slot (A) (direction of arrow).

Remove sealing ring (5) and pull out centrifugal governor (3).

Checking

Check regulating valve (11) for ease of movement.

If the centrifugal governor (3) is defective, the old helical gear (2) is to be used.

Change over helical gear on centrifugal governor.

Installing

Install helical gear (2) so that the driving pin engages in the helical gear bore.

Install snap ring (1)

Install centrifugal governor (3)

Replace sealing ring (5)

Turn axial bracket (8) at slot (A) to the right (direction of arrow) as far as the stop.

The axial bracket is correctly installed when the slot (A) is horizontal.

Tighten hexagon nut (7) of axial bracket (8).

Insert cover (4), press in and install snap ring (6).

Once the snap ring is inserted, the cover must be moved back until it abuts the snap ring

Connect plug to starter lock-out switch

Turn locking device downwards in direction of arrow.

Hook in selector lever control cable on automatic transmission
