Adjust longitudinal support:
1 Slacken nut (2) at longitudinal support (4) by max. half a thread turn.
2 Turn nuts (2, 3) evenly so that probe of adjusting device is centered with gearshift lever.
The ball head of the longitudinal support (4) must in this case run parallel to the shift rod (1).
3 Tighten nuts (2, 3) at the longitudinal support (4).
Adjust gate support:
4 Slacken both nuts (5) at rear gate support (7).
5 Turn threaded rod (6) of rear gate support (7) until gearshift lever and probe of adjusting device are in alignment.
6 Align ball heads of rear gate support (7) with each other.
7 Tighten both nuts (5) at rear gate support (7).
8 Operate gearshift lever several times in direction of gear and gate. Once again check setting of shift mechanism, correct if necessary.
Test by lifting the probe on the adjusting device and then releasing it. The probe must align with the center of the upper centering hole in the shift lever.
