Remove

Remove center console

Remove air duct

Cut the cable ties (2) and place wiring harness (3) to one side

4

Unhook shift cables (A, B) on gearshift lever with bearing bracket (4) at front

5

Remove screw/bolt (1)

Use suitable tool to pry off the shift cable (A) from the gearshift lever with bearing bracket (4)

7

Use suitable tool to remove retaining clip (5)

8

Disconnect shift cable (B) from gearshift lever with bearing bracket (4)

9

Remove gearshift lever with bearing bracket (4)

10

Remove boot from gearshift lever

When replacing gearshift lever with bearing bracket (4).

Install

Position gearshift lever with bearing bracket (4)

Install shift cable (A) onto gearshift lever with bearing bracket (4)

Install shift cable (B) onto gearshift lever with bearing bracket (4)

14

Tighten screws/bolts (1)

 Screw, bearing bracket to transmission tunnel

Install retaining clip (5) in first notch position


Install retaining clip (5) only up to first notch position.
Otherwise, the shift cable (B) cannot be adjusted.

 Replace retaining clip (5).

Adjust shift cables (A, B)

Position wiring harness (3) and fix in place using cable ties (2)

Install air duct
