Remove/install

Remove front trim of center console

Disconnect electrical connector (7) at KEYLESS-GO antenna (8)

Remove cup holder (2)

 Installation: Only install cup holder (2) after adjusting the parking brake.

 Clip remover

Slacken nut (4)

 Release nut (4) so that parking brake lever can be applied up to end stop.

Apply parking brake lever up to end stop

Unbutton boot (3) of parking brake lever

Remove rear stowage compartment in center console (1)

Unclip retaining clip (5) from center console (1)

 Clip remover

Remove rear cover (1) from center console

Disconnect electrical connector (6)

Lift center console (1) upward and remove from vehicle

 Helper required.

Install in the reverse order

Adjust

Adjust parking brake

Perform function test of all control elements integrated in center console (1)

Perform function test of KEYLESS-GO system
