6 | Detach shift cables (1) from shift module (6) and carrier console (7) | ||

7 | Detach cable ties for fastening shift cables (1) from frame | ||
8 | Detach brackets for fastening shift cables (1) from frame | ||
9 | Pull out shift cables (1) forwards | Helper required. | |
10 | Install in the reverse order | ||

11 | Check for correct adjustment of shift cables (1) by shifting through all gears | If there are problems | |

Slacken the counternuts on the threaded adjustment rods, adjust the shift cables (1) by twisting the threaded adjustment rods until they are without play and tighten the counternuts. | |||
The gearshift system is in neutral. |
