 Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Remove oil pump housing (1.2)

Only for transmission with PTO

Remove oil pump gear (driven) (2) and oil pump gear (powered) (3)

Transmission without transmission oil cooling

Install

Use transmission oil to moisten oil pump gear (driven) (2) and oil pump gear (powered) (3)

6.1

Install lubricated oil pump gear (driven) (2) and oil pump gear (powered) (3) into end cover (1.1)

Transmission without power take-off

 The markings (B) on the oil pump gears (2, 3) must face towards the transmission (7).

6.2

Install lubricated oil pump gear (driven) (2) and oil pump gear (powered) (3) into the oil pump housing (1.2)

Transmission with power take-off

 The markings (B) on the oil pump gears (2, 3) must face towards the transmission (7).

Install oil pump housing (1.2)

Only for transmission with PTO


The spring pin (4) for locking the oil pump housing (1.2) must engage in the blind hole bore in the transmission housing.
Otherwise; the oil pump housing (1.2) will be twisted during installation, and the transmission may be damaged.

8.1

Install pressure relief valve with bypass valve (5)

Transmission with transmission oil cooling

 The pin (A) of the overpressure valve with bypass valve (5) must be in the "9 o'clock" position.

8.2

Install pressure relief valve (6)

Transmission without transmission oil cooling

9.1

Apply coating of sealant to end cover (1.1) and install

Remove filling screw from transmission and pour in transmission oil up to lower edge on transmission

Tighten filling screw at transmission

Only on transmission without power take-off

 Filling screw to transmission housing

Start the engine, run for approx. 2 min and switch off again

Only on transmission without power take-off

Remove filling screw and check transmission oil level

Only on transmission without power take-off

If the transmission oil level does not reach the lower edge of the opening.



Refill transmission oil up to lower edge.

Tighten filling screw at transmission

Only on transmission without power take-off
