Install

Determine shims (4) for countershaft

 The shims (4) are used to adjust the bearings of the countershaft.

 Preload of bushings on drive shaft and countershaft for determining shims

Insert new O-rings (3, 7) into transmission

Install determined shims (4) in countershaft brake (2)

Attach countershaft brake (2) to transmission

 The oil grooves (arrows) of the brake disks (8) must line up. Install bolts (1) of countershaft brake (2) with sealant.
