 	Remove/install
 Danger!	Risk of injury caused by touching hot retarder and by scalding from hot retarder oil. Risk of injury to skin or eyes caused by retarder oil escaping under high pressure	Do not carry out any work unless retarder is switched off. 1	Remove propeller shaft	 See vehicle operating/repair instructions.
2	Fit retainer wrench to output flange (4).		*717589003100
3	Remove stretch bolt (1)	 Installation: Replace stretch bolt (1).
		 with VOITH retarder R115E	*BA26.50-N-1001-01I
		 without VOITH retarder R115E	*BA26.50-N-1004-01I
4	Remove pressure plate (2) and O-ring (3)
 Danger!	Risk of injury to skin and eyes caused by handling hot or glowing objects.	Wear safety gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses, if necessary.	AS00.00-Z-0002-01A
5	Fit puller to output flange (4) and detach output flange (4)	 Installation: Heat up output flange (4) to approx. 80 °C with a hot plate and slide on to output shaft.

6	Remove radial shaft sealing ring (5)	 Installation: Replace radial shaft sealing ring (5) and coat with multipurpose grease.	*BR00.45-Z-1017-06A
7	Install in the reverse order
