1 | Release pressure in compressed air ancillary circuit | For example through drain valve at ancillary circuit reservoir. | |
2 | Detach lower engine compartment paneling | Carry out only steps for removing paneling below transmission. | |
3 | Separate electric connector at sensor of clutch wear indicator (4) | Installation: If new clutch booster is installed or new parts of clutch, it is then necessary to re-store the release travel of the clutch in the FR control unit. | |
4 | Detach clutch operation hydraulic line (2) from clutch booster (1) | Collect clutch fluid which flows out with a suitable vessel. | |
5 | Detach pneumatic line of clutch booster (3) from clutch booster (1) | Installation: Install new sealing rings. | |
6 | Detach clutch booster (1) from transmission | The clutch booster is attached with 2 hexagon bolts. | |
7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
8 | Bleeding the clutch actuation | ||
9 | Carry out operational check of clutch |
