Remove

Remove driver kneebag.

Release electrical connector(1) and disconnect.

Loosen counternut (2).

Remove switch (3).

 To do so, remove switch (3) from pedal bracket (4).



Install

Install switch (3).

 To do so, install switch (3) into pedal bracket (4). The threaded pin must make contact with the pedal stopper (arrow). Do not press the clutch pedal(5) out of the rear end position here.

Tighten counternut (2).

Note on calculation of tightening torque when using insertion or socket tools with various effective lengths

 Jam nut, rear end position clutch pedal button to pedal bracket

Check

Check whether bolt (6) of threaded rod for clutch master cylinder can be moved to the side easily by hand.

If bolt (6) of threaded rod for clutch master cylinder is stuck:



Replace bolt (6) of threaded rod for clutch master cylinder.

Connect electrical connector (1).

Install driver knee airbag.
